Our Story
CANPAYBILLS story started in 2017 when my mother was admitted to a hospital in Iloilo City for an operation. From Canada, I called the hospital’s billing department and offered to settle the bill. The hospital declined because they do not have the facility to accept payments outside the Philippines.
This obstacle opened up an opportunity – what if there is a facility in Canada that accepts payment for bills in the Philippines. Research, interviews and a seminar on start up business lead me to pursue establishing a bills payment center that can pay bills in the Philippines.
In September 2017, CANPAYBILLS INC was incorporated offering a facility that accepts payments for Philippine bills.
As we grow, people were looking for payment of grocery bills. In 2018, we started accepting payments of grocery packages, vouchers and food delivery.
At present, anyone who needs to pay a bill, such as utility, health, government, education, grocery, property amortization can now pay Philippine bills from Canada.
